Cool! We're got some new goodies for the Parkfly and E3d Crowd!
Air Craft 3D Wobbly Adapters
You
say you want to save that fragile GWS prop, or that "expensive" ACP
slowfly? Well, here's the solution. These adapters allow
freedom of movement for your prop on all axis in the event of a crash, and
can really reduce prop damage. There are two hole sizes available:
3.0mm - For MP Jet Gearboxes, GWS EPS, Ultrafly Gearboxes, Hacker
B20 Geared 4:1, and other 3mm-shaft motors and gearboxes
3.2mm - For AXI 22 Series and Mega 16 Series motors, and other
3.2mm-shaft motors and gearboxes
The adapters include the M2.6x8mm screws as pictured. You can use
rubber bands as you like to secure the prop, but be sure to replace them
frequently. We've tested the adapters up to 160W input power, but do
strongly suggest a maximum of 100W for safety.
GWS props up to 12" fit the adapters "as is". For APC props, glue
the 4.8mm adapter ring into the prop, then open the hole to 5mm. NOTE: The
rubber bands pictured are too thin for actual use (they were only used
here so you can see the adapter). Use thicker bands for actual
assembly!

Disclaimer: Air Craft will not be responsible for
any prop-related injury. It is your responsibility to maintain and
operate your model safely. NEVER place any part of the body to the
side or in front of a spinning propeller!!
Air Craft EPS Aluminum Upgrade Shafts
 |
These shafts are made to
work with the 3D Wobbly adapters above. Note that when assembled
with the Wobbly Adapter, the end has a perfect radius for the
smoothest prop-saving action. More than that, these upgrade
shafts, which are made from the hardest aluminum available, are much
stronger that the stock GW-EPS-6AC steel shafts. They survive
the average hard landing without flinching, where the stock shaft
would be bent, yet again.... Finally, they weigh less than half
compared to the stock unit! |
