General guidelines
To insulate your solderjoints or connectors you should try to use the shrinktube that has the tightest fit. As a general rule you best take the shrinktube that is one size bigger than you connector or wire.
E.g: to insulate a 4mm connector it is best to use the 5mm shrinktube
