The Hacker B20 series motors
are available in two lengths and several Kv variations to suit all types of
small models - from indoor to "Speed 400" pylon to ducted fans - and the
geared long motors can even power 480-Class models with great authority.
The motors without planetary
gearboxes have 16mm mount spacing, like standard "Speed 400" motors.
While these little gems are much smaller and lighter than S400 motors,
they can produce up to four times more power at the prop!
The geared versions (+PG) come
with a pre-installed Maxon gearbox of the highest quality - you will marvel
at the tiny dimensions of the 4:1 planetary gearbox. The "L" version
with planetary gearbox still weighs less than a bare standard Speed 400
motor!
The Hacker Master brushless
speed controllers from 8A to 30A are the best choice for these motors as the
timing can be set at 2 degrees, which is optimal for the Hacker 2-pole
design. The Hacker Master series are very reliable, durable, and offer
the smoothest start and throttle response on the market today.

NEWS! Air Craft has recently been working with Hacker
Motors Germany to make the highest-efficiency brushless motor conversion
for GWS gearboxes in the world today. We've just the released the new
motors and heat sink/adapters.
All the B20 "S" Direct (without
Hacker Gearbox) models now come
with 2mm shafts, to fit
GWS pinions for EPS100-350 gearboxes. Combined with our exclusive
300 heat sink (right), which has outside diameter equal to S280-300
motors, the B20 S perfectly fit the GWS EPS100-350 gearboxes.
We have a new B20 20S motor with 4630Kv to suit the GWS Warbird
Series on 1200 2S Lithium, or 2S2P 2400 for really long flights at up to
12A peak. (see initial data below). The B20 22S is a super
E3D solution on 1200 3S Packs, using the ESP-300C-DS gearbox and 10x6 DD
prop.

Left is the B20 20S in EPS-100C-CS gearbox (a slightly tight
fit).
MP Jet 2.5mm connectors are shown, but not included with the motors.
We recommend MPJ 2.5mm for the B20 "L" motors, and MPJ 1.8mm for the B20
"S" motors.

these heat sinks.
The B20 "L" series with 400 Heatsink (right) are simply awesome in the
GWS EPS 400 Gearbox.
The B20 12L is a perfect match for 12002S2P Packs (2400mAh) as it can
easily sustain 16A+
 continuous
loads. For 3S Lithium, the B20 15L or 18L are the best choices,
depending on model type.

Here's the preliminary data we've collected. I
haven't calibrated our new test bench, so use the thrust figures for
comparison within this data set only, for which they are certainly
valid. The thrust numbers can't be compared with other data
(on the GWS website, for example) until I say here that the numbers have
been validated...

However, we do have some with 2.3mm shaft in stock, and can special
order any variation of any motor, for you, at any time... Just email us
if you need 2.3mm.
