C50XL AcroWe are proud to present our new series of C50 ACRO motors, the most efficient solution today for powering large aircraft models.

On the right is the C50 ACRO XL Motor with 6.7:1 gear drive. Using 30 cells with MASTER 77-3P OPTO controller, you find an optimal drive for Acrobatic models up to 6kg ready-to-fly weight. This motor system is already a proven winner, and its stability and performance have been shown at many flight demonstrations around the world, such as the TOC 2002 in Las Vegas.

The C50 ACRO XL Motor with gear drive are also the number one performance solution for large gliders with ready-to-fly weight of up to 20kg (40lbs)! You have to see the climb angle yourself to believe it!

C50L AcroThe C50 ACRO series have been designed as a total system perfectly integrated and matched to the task.  The transmission, from motor shaft to prop/spinner mount, easily handles the high-torque loads from large props. The motor body is machined to maximize strength and integrates the heatsink to insure efficient cooling. The motor endcaps are secured to the motor body with five high-grade steel bolts each.

The new gearbox design for ACRO XL Series incorporates the pinion gear in the motor shaft itself to eliminate the possibility of slipping and planet gears run smoothly on needle bearings (6.7:1 gear). Likewise, the heavy-duty 8mm gearbox output shaft serves as the propeller adapter and includes all the parts needed to mount standard props, as shown in the photos.  This system allows easy mounting of standard spinners intended for IC engine models. For 60-90 class scale IC conversions, the 8mm shaft also allows direct mounting of the VarioProp 12C variable-pitch hub with Scale blades up to 15" (2, 3, 4 blade hubs).
